(prayer: writ petition filed under article 226 of the constitution of india for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2015 and to issue the death benefits of the petitioner's brother kannan, special sub-inspector of police, who died on 14.10.2015 to the petitioner.) 1. this writ petition has been filed, seeking for issuance of a writ of writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2015 and to issue the death benefits of the petitioner's brother kannan, special sub-inspector of police, who died on 14.10.2015 to the petitioner. 2. mr. m. satheesh kumar, learned additional government pleader takes notice for the second respondent. by consent of both parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 3. it is represented by both parties that before mediation centre attached to this bench, both the parties have entered into a settlement and the same has been recorded by the mediator. a mediation report along with memorandum of understanding was also submitted by the mediation centre before this court. 4. in view of the same, the writ.....

(Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2015 and to issue the death benefits of the Petitioner's brother Kannan, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, who died on 14.10.2015 to the Petitioner.)

1. This writ petition has been filed, seeking for issuance of a writ of writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2015 and to issue the death benefits of the Petitioner's brother Kannan, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, who died on 14.10.2015 to the Petitioner.

2. Mr. M. Satheesh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the second respondent. By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. It is represented by both parties that before Mediation Centre attached to this Bench, both the parties have entered into a settlement and the same has been recorded by the Mediator. A mediation report along with memorandum of understanding was also submitted by the Mediation Centre before this Court.

4. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of, in terms of the memorandum of undertaking arrived at between the parties. The memorandum of undertaking shall form part and parcel of the order. No costs.
